On behalf of our client we are recruiting candidates for the position of Procurement & Logistics Specialist to lead sourcing and inventory management. In this role, you will ensure efficient procurement, timely deliveries, and strong supplier relationships while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and streamline the procurement process, ensuring alignment with business objectives for maximum efficiency.
- Supervise the Inventory Control & Purchasing Officer, providing guidance, feedback, and problem-solving support. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to secure timely, cost-effective deliveries. Negotiate optimal terms to enhance value and service quality.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess. Ensure goods are stored, transported, and delivered according to safety and quality standards.
- Uphold company policies, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements while proactively identifying and minimizing procurement and logistics risks.
Job requirements
We are looking strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and logistics who meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on expertise in procurement, logistics, or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical abilities to drive efficiency and maximize value.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/logistics software.
