Our client, a locally established bank with a global perspective, is currently looking for a Front Office Insurance Officer.

Job description

As a Front Office Insurance Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the bank's commercial objectives. You will manage client inquiries, process insurance documents, and assist clients with claims and policy information. By providing accurate guidance and leveraging cross-selling opportunities, you will help enhance policy compactness and ensure customer satisfaction.

Here a some of the Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with accurate information on insurance matters, ensuring complete and thorough recommendations.
  • Recommend solutions, answer insurance-related questions, collect technical information, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Address and resolve complaints, leveraging expertise and considering available options to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Check and resolve complaints where possible.
  • Assist with product and sales campaigns, in collaboration with management, marketing, and retail departments, to help achieve campaign objectives.
  • Participate in projects, represent the company at events, and schedule appointments as needed.

Job requirements

  • Completed MBO education, preferably in Banking and Insurance studies (possession of an Assurantie B or WFT diploma is a plus)
  • Proficient in Papiamento, Dutch, and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Ability to handle stress effectively.
  • High level of integrity.
