Job description
The Senior Pension Fund Officer is responsible for the effective administration of pension funds, ensuring accuracy in participant records, withdrawals, and financial operations. They review and process data, coordinate with external providers, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The role involves developing policies, managing risks, and improving operational efficiency, while also ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely audits. The officer oversees communication strategies to engage participants and stakeholders, prepares quarterly and annual actuarial reports, and compiles the annual pension fund report. They monitor pension fund performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and address participant inquiries, enhancing overall fund management and participant satisfaction.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; certifications in pensions or retirement planning preferred.

3-5 years of experience in the pensions fund.
Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of pension schemes, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English, Dutch, Papiamentu).
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high ethical standards.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity; able to work independently or collaboratively.
